Caring for your lingerie and swimwear

Each atelier culotté product page gives the composition of the piece and, for most designs, its care instructions. Here they are in one place, exactly as they are written on the product pages.

Lace and cotton lingerie

The EXPRESSO lace and the 50 NUANCES floral lace are made of 79% polyamide and 21% elastane; the KITTY and GRRR thongs are 100% cotton jersey. For the EXPRESSO bralette, bloomer briefs, ruffled thong and bloomer tanga, for the 50 NUANCES bralette top and briefs, and for the KITTY and GRRR thongs, the product pages say:

• Wash at 40°C maximum
• Do not bleach
• Iron at low temperature
• Do not dry clean
• Do not tumble dry
• Always wash the product before wearing it

The VALENTINE bloomer tanga and the CARMELIA triangle bra carry the first five instructions of this list.

Swimwear

For swimwear, the fabrics combine polyamide, elastane and sometimes polyester: 94% polyamide and 6% elastane for RHUM COCO, 87% polyamide, 8% elastane and 5% polyester for SOLEIL BLEU, 80% polyester and 20% elastane for SUNSET, 49% polyester, 42% polyamide and 9% elastane for BICHOCO.

For the RHUM COCO, SOLEIL BLEU, SUNSET and BICHOCO swimwear (one-piece swimsuits, triangle tops, Brazilian bottoms, high-waisted bottoms and tangas), the product pages give the same five basic instructions:

• Wash at 40°C maximum
• Do not bleach
• Iron at low temperature
• Do not dry clean
• Do not tumble dry

They add one, specific to swimming:

• Rinse in clean water after each swim

When the product page says nothing

A few product pages give no care instructions: the DIABOLO FRAISE one-piece swimsuit, the BICHOCO and RHUM COCO swim bralette tops, the KITTY and GRRR camisoles and the EXPRESSO draped top. For these pieces, the safest course is to ask the designer before the first wash, through the Contact page.
