In the workshop: one designer, handmade pieces
Who designs and sews the pieces of atelier culotté, where they are made, and why each design exists in small quantities.

atelier culotté is first of all a designer: Chloé. She founded the brand for women who refuse to hide and who want to rediscover lingerie from another angle. She describes her role simply on The Brand page: “My role? To give you confidence through design, colour and my know-how.”
A pattern maker by trade
Chloé is a pattern maker by profession. She honed her skills with major brands and young French labels. For her, transparency is at the heart of the approach: each label states exactly how long it took to design the piece you are wearing.
Imagined, drawn and sewn in the South West
Everything is imagined, drawn and made in the south west of France, in the designer’s workshop in Andoins. The fabrics are mostly French, and each product page says where the fabric of the piece comes from: a French fabric for the RHUM COCO, SOLEIL BLEU, SUNSET and BICHOCO swimwear, a Turkish fabric for the EXPRESSO lace, a fabric from Germany for the 50 NUANCES floral lace, a European fabric for the KITTY and GRRR cotton jersey.
Small collections
The workshop’s rule fits in two sentences: “Small collections that mean more. Less quantity, more quality.”
As each piece is made by hand and in limited quantities, slight variations in cut, shade and finish may exist between two copies of the same design. They are part of a handmade garment. This is also why a preparation time of 2 to 5 working days is added to the carrier’s delivery time: your order goes through the designer’s hands before leaving by tracked Colissimo or an equivalent carrier.
For every woman
“Petite, tall, slender, curvy, radiant or discreet: I design my creations for every woman. Each design is made to reveal, never to constrain.”
The cuts are designed to flatter every body shape, with a single obsession: that each piece be as beautiful to look at as it is to wear. To go further, the shop brings together the workshop’s lingerie and swimwear.
